My station, call it Station A, connects with another station, call it Station B. After one minute or so the VARA'FM modem does a Connection Time Out and VarAC disconnects. Same thing occurs when Station B connects with Station A.
Next, my station (A) connects with Station C. Stays connected for as long as the QSO auto-disconnect timer is set for.
Same thing occurs when my station connects with Station D.
Now, my station (A) connects with Station C (and D) via digipeating through Station B (the station that timed out after a minute,,,even with activity). The Connection Time Out again occurs after a minute.
Station B can connect with Station C and D with no Connection Time Out.
I cannot figure out what the problem is between my station and Station B.
I hope someone can figure this out. If not, then VarAC will be unuseable for our EMCOMM operations.
Thanks.

Again,,,figured it out on my own. When connecting to the problem station (Station B) that station is using a Signalink. The TX delay was set to the off position which caused the TX delay on VARA-FM to go 'red' which seemed to prevent the handshaking to occur. Station B operator turned the TX delay to just a hair up from off and problem fixed.
