VarAC 8.4.4 Error writing to log file

VarAC V8.4.4: After restarting VarAC, the following error messages appear:

1) VarAC does not have WRITE permissions to the ADIF file directory C:\Program Files (×86)\ VarAC

2) Error: writing to log file: Access to the path 'C:\Program Files.......

These errors do not occur with VarAC 8.2.0

you installed the upgrade not as admin.

Move yoru install to C:\VarAC or run VarAC as administrator.

I have the same issue. It apears that this version is being installed in a new location (C:\Program Files (×86)\ VarAC\) versus the older c:\VARAC\. I tried to remedy this by re-installing as administrator. I can see the issue being logged onscreen when I go into the adanced mode.

I noticed this when I failed to establish kilometers in the PSK custom map. I had to update the VARAC.ini file manually.
