Hello All and Irad,
it looks like VarAC is designed for more bands than HF only, so I set up 2 transceivers on 2 meters using Vara HF. Note: both transceivers have a correct rit/clarifier setting to be within each others rx-'window'.
The first problem I'm experiencing is that using a QRG of 144.385 MHz (set in VarAC_frequencies.conf), VarAC sets it to 144.384.990 and 144.384.992, so that's a few Hz off. Maybe that's because the frequency is >= 100 Mhz with an extra digit now? Or there is a CAT error; used trx's are a Yaesu 817 and an Icom 9100.
The second problem I'm having is that a QSY Up 1 kHz with te #-button does not change frequency on either side, producing the error (also on both sides):
05:47:49 - Error: Unable to parse QSY freq: De indeling van de invoertekenreeks is onjuist.
bij System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal)
bij System.Number.ParseInt64(String value, NumberStyles options, NumberFormatInfo numfmt)
bij System.Convert.ToInt64(String value)
bij VarAC.VarAC.write_data_stream_log(String msg, Color clr, Boolean with_timestamp, Boolean with_newline)
(sry about the Dutch) There is no problem qsy-ing with the Up and Down buttons and changing frequencies.
Noted: I'm Down 750 Hz now, the QRG should be 144.384.250, see my first problem. That is perfectly ok because I started off at 144.384.990.
Thank You and Cheers,
Jan PH3J.
Ok fixed also the QSY issue. it has nothing to do with the 2M frequency. it has to do with the Ø (zero with slash). now fixed. I'll send you another version that include also the fix for that
I refer to the not accurate frequency using CAT change frequency command.
I found the bug @Jan PH3J
Please send me an email and I'll send you in return a version to check.
