TS-590 correction to INI File -- USB_D not switching to USB

That sounds like a reasonable approach but would not allow the use of FM or other modes.

The first example did work -- FA{};MD2;DA1;

But that always forces the mode to USB Data, can't switch to FM for instance.

Well 99% of users use VARA HF... so I think it is a good solution.

so to conclude this thread - Can you please paste here the rig settings that works for you for your 590 RIG so I can have it as a standard for others ?

Send the mode and data-mode with each frequency setting.

Each freq change also triggers the USB-D / USB command.

if you put the sequence inside as you did, it should work
