As the numbers of VarAC users is on the rise, and we sure want to avoid QRM when many people share he same freq, then it was decided at this point that 15m is the maximum we can sustain.
If a person is actively looking for a QSO, he may use the CQ button. But when QRV-ing, 15 minutes is safe enough for all to co-exists (with the number of active users we have today) on busy days one may hear a beacon every minute.
