In the spirit of "keeping it simple", then QRZ.com dominate the callbook space and I would to stick with one option that provides with 100% coverage. I myself don't have an updated account in HamQTH and I am ham-addict :) I would like to provide with our community a feature that will 100% of the time show them who that person is. QRZ.COM provides that goods 100% of the time.
As for automatic Lookup - it used to be possible with QRZ for free but now only for paying users. So not going to implement this at the moment.
But here comes the big BUT, I am committed to a grid less experience when it comes to exchanging data. I want to encourage people exchange it like in the good old days rather the populate it automatically through QRZ. I find it more fun to get the name from that person you are connected with rater then starting the call with "Hi David - I know everything about you already so lets end this call :)) Of course I am exaggerating but I think you get my general sense of this.
OK!
