Squelch filter

Right. A long time ago... lol.... really, it can be "so busy" now, that having an 18bps qso isn't something I look forward to. Being able to set a higher threshold means you don't need to guess as much on who you can hold a higher rate qso with. Likewise, I hear a lot of folks say they can hear but not be heard, setting a higher threshold, if wanted, would level the field in some cases. I for one, often see cq's in the 20s, but I can rarely contact them.

Well - as we still want to see more CQiers, filtering some away from your screen will reduce a CQier chance to find a QSO mate.

In addition - what if that was a DX you are interested in? wouldn't you make the effort ?

You have clear visibility into SNR levels so you have today the way to know if you want to make a connection with a -21DB.

For those reasons I will vote for rejecting this feature request. for now.
