Might not be that simple, with the modem holding set up details
Some way of storing user profiles, so different radios , sound cards , ptt options , rates and com-ports ,Calls can be stored for different radios
Would make changing from say HF to a VHF radio , without having to re-code the modem set up , much simpler

Too many moving parts... changing VarAC is one thing but also changing VARA modem settings is a hassle and it may break when VARA changes its configuration over time.
Better and safer to have separate installs for different configs.

Just reminding you guys that you can start the same VarAC with different ini files. (VarAC.exe VarAC1.ini / VarAC.exe VarAC2.ini).
I don't have any plans at the moment to allow a "fast switch" between setups through a dropdown menu. Please note similar thing is required for the VARA modem as well. So best option is to have 2 separate VarAC+VARA installs with 2 different setups.
I think the soundcard is configured in VARA HF with the other info in VarAC or even some still using Omni Rig for radio control. It's not all under the control of VarAC. Maybe someone with a multi-radio interest would write a companion app that switches config in all the right places? I'm not sure VarAC needs to bloat to accommodate this type of thing. I am sure having multiple copies of VARA and VarAC would take care of multiple setups like you mention. It would however be convenient if there was a simpler way.
