If you see a halt in the transmissions for 60 seconds followed by a drop off, its either a QSB and loss of signal or a VaraHF bug where 2 stations stop talking to each other (also known as lockup) which is a scenarios I am currently investigating for the VaraHF creator Jose.
OK! I guess what I mean is when 2 stations are connected and NO data is being exchanged, I have noticed the connection between those stations will disconnect after a short period of time. I have also noticed just the opposite, so it could also be a path issue to the other station. Anyway will keep on testing out the program to see if I can BREAK IT! LOL! Still waiting on a response from Alex about OmniRig and the IC-9700 FM-D. The Radio does support it. Tnx Again.
I sent Alex VE3NEA and asked about FM-D in the 9700-Data file.
I really appreciate all the work you have done on this. Keep up the good work.
I do have a ?. What is the Link Idle timer set for?
Could that be adjusted by the user so if they are fumbling to pull up a file to send, it doesn't time out on them? Seems like its pretty short right now.
Irad,
Would it be possible to interface the W1HKJ FLrig program with VarAC??
Just wondering!

Irad,
OK FB on all that. Then I'm NOT crazy. LOL!
I never heard back from Alex VE3NEA so I sent a 2nd email today regarding FM-D in OmniRig and the IC-9700. I just will have to be patient.

I don't see in Omnirig an option for FM-D. Just FM.
I added FM this but if you want to have FM-D you would need to have a customized OMNIRIG ini file.
Will be out in next version.
Irad,
Tnx 73 de Steve
VARA FM is fully and officially supported.
but I will add to the OmniRig dropdown also the FM elements you asked.
