While I understand that the file size should be limited in 500 Hz QSO mode,
the limit should be bigger in 2300 Hz mode (optional) or VarAC would be very
limited in EMCOMM use. Our testfiles are normally about 300 k compressed
and can go up to about 500k compressed.

The limit is because I encode the filesize in the first packet. and in Level 1 speed (under poor conditions) it can not be encoded into a single VARA HF packet.
I can do that for 2300 but please keep in mind that if you try to send a file in Speed level 1, the first packet will fail the whole link.
