We have a weekly net for broadcasts on slot 15.. you could say that Slot 15 is a prefered one for broadcasts. But Since most of the traffic is on the CF, if you ar elooking for a Broadcast group chat - you can invite people to Slot 15 by broadcasting on the CF an invitation to ALL
I dont know if it is technically possibly, but i can see 3 slots fully in the passband of the VARA modem, could VARAC run 3 modems and have essentially 3 QRG? one for beacons/CQ, one for broadcasts, one for pings.
I dont see why it couldnt decode all at once and then send data to the appropriate modem
I read a lot of messages on this forum and on Facebook. Seems a lot of complaints at both ends of the spectrum - too much traffic vs not enough traffic. Pfft
I'm glad my lane is down the center line with blinders. ;) I use ALL the features availed to me in VarAC and find no shortage of fulfillment.
14.105 seems to have become very busy in the past day or so, I guess we are all guilty of "pinging" a station... Broadcasting will make it worse. Perhaps if more users called CQ, that than just sending a beacon, it would help keep 105 clear of traffic?

I agree it now become more essential. We will do some brainstorming about this internally in the team. TU!
