How about the ability to send a broadcast for a specific type of alert? For example, weather alerts for a specific state would be something like WXAL or WXWA (meaning "weather alert for Alabama", or "Weather Alert for Washington"? These type of alerts could optionally print in a different color, and perhaps have a unique sound.
