I am only a few days new to VarAC and it's an excellent tool, thank you!
(And thank you for the OmniRig interface)
This suggestion has to do with Log4OM which is my current favorite logging tool.
One of the things I like about Log4Om is that as soon as you type a callsign into the callsign window, Log4Om looks it up and pulls the name and location of the ham so that you don't have to look it up separately in QRZ or other database.
However, VarAC only submits completed QSO's to Log4Om after the QSO has disconnected which makes this feature moot...
And therein lies the suggestion:
When a connection is made and if VarAC is setup to send logs to Log4Om, would it be possible to send only the callsign to Log4Om until the QSO is completed and then send the entire QSO packet?
That way, Log4Om would automatically look up the callsign and save me the step of launching QRZ.
I'm not sure that Log4OM is setup to work this way, but it would be very helpful if if worked!

I had posted a "teaser" of it working about a week ago, it does work well and will soon be released. You can also right click on a call to send it to Log4OM.
