Have an ic-705 using wireless. Most of the other digital mode apps interface to wsview which supports ic-705 network connects but NOT VarAC (which is the better choice of all these apps). So I have to buy ICOM's $100+ outrageous priced package just to connect to VarAC. And ICOM's software interface is really bad to boot!! . So when is non-ICOM interface coming ?

Seems strange that VARAC will not work.?? Tell us what actually is not working..?? A Big difference with VARAC it is not proccessing the Audio. Have you set VBAudio Cable as the Audio devices in VARA-HF Modem(s).?
Do what? IC-705 is directly supported. But kind of an inflamatory way to post a question here, and of course you provided very little info to try to figure out what you are truely asking.
What is a "non-Icom interface"????? varAC interfaces to many rigs, both serial and TCP-IP CAT.
