I am looking for people who would be interested in doing scheduled QSOs using VarAC on different bands to test propagation and power levels and their effects on VarAC QSOs. I would like to use EchoLink, Peanut, or DMR in order to coordinate which frequency to QSY to as well as what features to test. I am retired so I am free during the day, but if people require early morning or night that's fine with me too. I am in Toronto Ontario, so that gives you an idea of the path to my station from your station. I want to document and later share the results so that people can have an idea of what QSO potentials can be found outside of 20 and 40 meters. 73 de VE3FMQ

About a month from now I'll be in Japan to complete setting up my fixed station there (PM64of) to communicate back to North America with VARAC and JS8Call. My JA callsign is JJ5PVJ.
I'll try and let the group know when and where as the dates get closer. I'm pretty new to DXing, and both programs so any interest and suggestions would be appreciated.

Same here, i like to experiment with different QRG's. State one and i will try it, Joe. Location here is JO22 in EU and in FT8 i can make calls with CA in the EU late evening wich is in the morning your time. Worth a try here to see what the outcome is. Antenne situ is an EFHW, so no direction finder is needed hi. Dirk, PE1KWE.
You can use my station as a reference. I run 20,17, 15 and 10M simultaneous on the same antenna (resonant dipole on each band) and same radio. NC3Z
