Setting up VarAC HF & FM instructions needed

I've been running VarAC HF successfully for weeks but now want to add VarAC FM capability. I already have both VARA HF and VARA FM modems working well with WinLink but I'm having problems figuring out how to successfully add VARA FM capability to VarAC. It looks to me that if I change the VarAC Setup page from HF to FM, I lose all the HF configurations ???? Some help or pointing to a help link would be appreciated. Can't seem to find the answers in the existing material. I am NOT intending to run both at the same time.
