Two computers one callsign

I'm trying to set up two laptops running VarAC and VARA FM to use for training during local radio club meetings. Is it possible to use that setup and send files and messages back and forth using only a single callsign? I have read some material on the forum about use of suffixes but don't understand it very well. It would be great to demo all the features of VarAC while both users are in the same room. All guidance and/or reference material links welcome.

Use SSIDs

Change your own callsign to XXXX-1 and the other to XXXX-2 and you can connect. Please note that broadcasts will not work that way. not yet... as they do not support SSIDs.

You can also demonstrate it using 2 VarAC on the same PC with no radio at all. You can use a software (like I use for QA) to create vritual device audio that you set both VARA modems to work with so they communicate to each other directly.

Irad - Thank you so much for the response. It clarified something I had set up incorrectly and now have working. I will experiment with the virtual connection software as well. VarAC is a fantastic tool, thanks for creating and sharing it. Andy K7AHS
