Here are some of my alert configs if anyone wants to test. You can use your own within your groups but everyone that wants to use a specific alert must be setup with the alert. The cool thing is once you have your alerts setup for your group you can share your alert config file with your group. It is in the VarAC folder and it is called VarAC_alert_tags.conf
How can I add an alert tag to my CQs and Beacons?
Set mine up similar to yours except I have CQ as an alert and not QSY. Other than color difference, same Alerts.
You can also put a call sign in the alert tag text too.
