Canned Msgs #4 & #5; No Save

in VarAC - HF discussion forum

VarAC: Editing canned messages #4 or #5 won't save. Running v6.6.13, Win10 with Admin privileges.

Solution: Text entered into #4 or #5 is saved ONLY if you also change the "name" of the shortcut. So, guess this is a non-issue?

Well, I thought I had it but ... I can change the name of the shortcut, but re-starting the program also populates 4 & 5 with the "truck" and "thumb"

Well I can assure you my code has no special care for Items 4 & 5 :)

And all works on this side so it hard to say whats going on, Do you see any error in the windows event log that may shed light on this ?

I was unable to simulate. saved here just fine. maybe a specific text you are trying to save breaks it. Can you send me what you are trying o save ?

Okay ... thanks for the quick feedback, Irad. Actually, I'm just deleting what is in #4 and #5 and saving. When I re-open Canned Messages, it goes back to the default. Others are not having the problem either. Could it be where I have it installed? I created a folder on the desktop and installed from there. Win10 Pro, v2H22. Any ideas?
