How does one put in a Center Frequency ?

I'm new so still learning and do not see any guides on Google About.. I would like to know please how to put in a center fequency of 7.103.2 to connect to the VARA Chat to N3MEL . I would like to check into the FL WL NET Any help would be greatly appericated, I'm better with photos are pictures as I have a learning disability. thanks 73's WA8UNS

Thanks all for the comments I do have a learning disability I'm using a Elecraft K2 with a Singalink but I do not have CAT controls. I will see what I can do. thanks 73's WA8UNS

Hi Thomas; don't think complicated! I think you are using Cat and it works?

Subtract 1.5KHz from the Center frequency and you will arrive at the Dial frequency that is used for VarAC and FLDIGI.

Hi Bill, So I'm suppose to use FLDiGI and not the VARA HF Modem ? I'm new to all of this I have VARA HF and Winlink running well. I'm better with photos are pictures as I have a learning disability. thanks 73's WA8UNS

If you are using Winlink, you need to add 1.5 Khz to the Dial frequency to arrive at the Center frequency, Center frequencies are entered in Winlink and the Dial frequency is displayed at 1.5 KHz below the Center frequency. No, you do not need to use Fldigi, but if you do, it uses Dial frequency, as does VarAC. Winlink and VarAC use the Vara Modem, but they do not speak to one another.

Actually, to best answer your question you can add 7.103.200 to your Frequency Dropdown list in settings with an edit.
