Hi,
I am a new user. I have installed version V5.1.8. I also have the latest version of Vara HF installed and have previously used that to send and receive an email with Winlink. I am using a Windows 10 machine.
I have an icom 705 and believe that it to be setup properly with varac. In the rig control screen, I can change frequencies and test the ptt button perfectly ok.
The problem is that when I try and call cq. Nothing happens. The call cq is purple by the way.
When i hit call cq, and select a slot, I then hit the slot sniffer button. The frequency changes and then returns...Sniffed ok..
Lastly, when I hit the call cq button on this screen. which is also purple by the way...
nothing happens and the screen goes away.
Any ideas???

It seems that Varaa is failing to connect to the model. I have both the Moden and monitor running and the port is proper for the model. I am not sure whythe message is showing. I can close the vara hf windows and then click on connect tomodem and they are reopened, but varac is not connecting to them. any ideas???
