SE PUEDE USAR EL VARA con un Yaesu FT 80 C

Me he mirado el manual de tu equipo. Parece que puede funcionar con CAT, pero es un aparato algo antiguo. Tal vez probando alguna configuración de Yaesu, lo consigas.

Yo tengo en otro QTH, un viejo Kenwood 450. Lo uso con Vara mediante control de PTT con RTS/DTR, con el adaptador para tarjeta de sonido. Los cambios de frecuencia han de hacerse de forma manual, aunque también puedes memorizar las frecuencias del VaraC para moverte más fácilmente.

Ahora uso un Icom 7300, que no es caro y funciona de maravilla en este modo.

I have looked at the manual of your equipment. It seems that it can work with CAT, but it is a somewhat old device. Maybe trying some configuration of Yaesu, you get it.

I have an old Kenwood 450 in another QTH. I use it with Vara through PTT control with RTS/DTR, with the sound card adapter. The frequency changes have to be done manually, although you can also memorize the frequencies of the VaraC to move more easily.

I now use an Icom 7300, which is inexpensive and works great in this mode.
