I'm trying to compare the sensitivity/range of the ax25 protocol for broadcast vs varahf beacon/chat. After a previous EDM exercise it seems that beacons really get out, but broadcasts not so much. Anyone do any testing or have any info?

There was a post about some imperical numbers a while back, SL1 for the Beacon vs SL5 for the Broadcasts. Let me do a search to find it.
