Broadcast will not work. I get an error message in Vara HF: Invalid kiss frame.
Nothing in the other posts has helped.
Also, does the broadcast go out on telnet or is it transmitted by the radio?

Well I checked and I didn’t have the latest version of Vara HF. I do now and broadcast is working. Thank you so much for your time and help!

What version of VARA HF are you using?
Turned off the firewall and tried to send a broadcast. Same failure error. Do I need to reboot after turning off the firewall?
VarAC v 6.4.15.
I created an inbound rule in the firewall for 8100 per one of the posts. Didn't work, so I then added Vara HF as the program to allow. Then created a outbound rule for 8100. Then added Vara HF to that. Rebooted each time. Nothing worked.
So if I can figure out how to pause the firewall, I'll try that.

It all goes out via RF of course. So in order to help you can you post screenshots of your VarAC and VARA HF settings so we can see if you configured everything per the manual?
