Vmail not there

When I send my friend a vmail he receives the indication that he has mail, but when he opens the window there is no mail there to read. When he sends to me all is well. Is there an auto delete setting or something that prevents him from seeing the vmail?

I can receive Vmail but not send nor replay. version 5.1.8 73 de LA0FD

Next version will allow store and forward. so you can leave a message locally and once someone connects you they will receive the mail

My callsign is KD7GOM. I have tried it on two different computers (both version 5.0.2) and the same result. The .mbx file is empty (0 bytes), and when I open the traffic log and search for the string 'vmail' I find nothing. All the other traffic seems normal (I have looked at different conversations with folks and file transfers). The VarAC log does not contain the string 'vmail' either. I sent the two files to you via email. I could not send the .mbx file because it was 0 bytes long.
