What are the correct settings to use VarAC with a Yaesu FTdx3000

in VarAC - HF discussion forum

I installed Omnirig and selected Rig Type FTDX-3000-DAT.

In VarAC I use OmniRig For PTT and Frequency control. (Cat commands for FTdx3000 from VarAC don't work for me)

Now when I select a Frecuency in VarAC the FTdx3000 goes into split mode.

What am I not doing wrong

I already addressed your issue on the facebook page. But I'll copy paste it to here so others can read:

Its an OmniRig configuraiton issue. You can try and play with the FTDX-3000-DATA.ini file in Omnirig RIGS dir. Probably OmniRig fires the split command - so you can maybe remove it from the file so it wont happen:

In addition - I would like to send you the new VarAC beta version with Full cat control (no need for omnirig) to see if it works for you. send me your email and we continue from there.
