While I understand that the file size should be limited in 500 Hz QSO mode, the limit should be bigger in 2300 Hz mode (optional) or VarAC would be very limited in EMCOMM use. In our section of the German Red Cross we use Vara Chat for EMCOMM on VHF/UHF/SHF with Vara FM and on HF with Vara HF. File transfer is very important and the files tend to be big. I like to test my various stations first by connecting to my own call, which works well with Vara Chat, but not with VarAC. Could you make connection to own call possible? Vy 73, Alex - DH2ID
