Hi Thomas, Just a thought, but have you installed the latest G90 firmware? I've been told very recently that the latest version (v 1.79b02 or 3) has "added the USB-data and LSB-Data modes, which automatically switch audio in and out to the ACC socket on the rear of the radio and adjusts receive bandwidth." - words of a friend of mine who was helping me to get sorted on VarAC. With the new firmware, you need to make sure that the radio is switched to U-D mode on the radio, NOT USB as it used to be. I'm actually not using my G90 for this mode, reserving that radio for SOTA use; instead I'm using an old FT-897D, which works OK. HTH, Rob DM1CM
