Beacons should be a one of fire and then only send again after nothing heard for 2 or more minutes and rest of the beacon timeout.....maybe a max countdown or 12hr limit total Broadcast time.

Well if you need slots use something like the Texas VHF Society setup 144.91, 144.93, ... 145.01 packet calling frequency, 145.03, ...145.09. In Houston we use 145.03 NE Harris, 145.05 SW, 145.09 NW for example. Our FLDigi folks seem to test on 144.91 and VaraFM on 03/05/09 mixed with packet 1200. Suggest 144.93 calling and hop to 144.95/97 for chats. Herbert KD5PQJ

In version 7.0.8 I find that the Data Stream Buffer isn't being reworked on check/uncheck of the Dark button and after a little time of operation in one mode and switching mode you loose the to color being unreadable except for new stuff.
