Greetings, A buddy and i were trying to send a file between us using Vara FM, with him using Vara Chat and me using VarAC. All I ever saw on the VarAC screen was: NJ3H> <SF:new 3.txt.VarAC_gzip|29|FE69FA38CED280DB9DFEF2401AA4FF8C> The file never sent. When I tried sending another file, I received a message that theyre was already a file being send. The file was only 200 bytes. So then we tried sending the file after disconnecting and restarting with both of using VaeAC. We go to the same point. There was no on-screen confirmation or log entry that said the file was sent. My friend did not receive the file. Then we both shut down VarAC and then both of us used Vara Chat. The file was sent successfully. So some questions/comments: 1. I do not understand why the file would not transfer with both of us using VarAC. Any thoughts? 2. Are Vara Chat and VarAC compatible with each other for file transfer? 3. With my friend using Vara Chat an me using VarAC, he would see &IT& show up on his screen frequently along with actual text send from me while we were connected. What does &IT& stand for? Greetings, I have installed the latest version of AC.  Attached is a picture of my settings.   When i try to save, I get 3 popups, one after another: a. Logging TCP Port must be a number b. Offset hertz must be a number c. Flrig port must be a number All of those three items are greyed out as you can see in the picture, since I don't want to use those features.  So ungreyed the areas on the setup screen, set 0 for all three and then greyed them out again and hit save. I was working with a friend over the phone and we followed the same steps.  His set up worked perfectly.  He didn't get the 3 items above and can view the settings without an exception error message.  By the way I am using Win 10 Enterprise. Then I go to look at the settings screen again and I get an unhandled exception message (Attached).  When I clear the message all of my settings have been erased. So I am stuck. What I want is to be able to use VARA FM with no rig control, no logging, no QSO record, etc.  Just very basic operation. Attached is the Error Message the I get when clicking on Settings/RIG Control and VAA Configurations. The error message says "Could not find file".  What file(s) is it looking for?
